Fully renovated in 2024 using modern green building standards—including triple-glazed windows—it retains the charm and character typical of lakeside homes through the use of natural materials like stone and wood. Amenities include a hearty breakfast, convenient private parking with video surveillance, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a Smart TV, and a kettle with all the essentials; each room features a spacious bathroom. The Plesna (also known as Pollesina is a stream in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and in the province of Novara, a tributary of Lake Orta.
The stream originates in the north-east of Mount Avigno and descends in a north-easterly direction passing near the two former municipalities of Boleto and Artò (now part of Madonna del Sasso). Near Centonara it then turns south-east and finally flows into Lake Orta just south of the center of Pella.
